Omni La Mansión del Rio

We recently stayed at the Omni La Mansión del Rio with our family and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located on the River Walk, and the staff was friendly and professional. What really impressed us was the customer service—my wife accidentally left her hair dryer and straightener, and the staff contacted us and shipped the items back to our home without any hassle. Outstanding service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I truly enjoyed my 3-night stay for work. The room was spotless and the hotel is literally on the Riverwalk. I appreciated the in-room Keurig, heated pool, and daily complimentary agua fresca in the lobby. The riverwalk business closed early so it was quiet by the time I went to sleep. The hotel layout is a little disjointed because of additions made over time, but you get the hang of it. The only downside was we accepted the valet’s offer to arrange a taxi to the airport and the taxi charged us double ($40) the rate we paid to Uber/Lyft separately to our hotel ($20 each). However, I don’t find that to be the hotel’s fault - just opt to arrange your own transport to the airport. Overall, enjoyed my stay very much!

Beautiful stay on Christmas. Spacious rooms,friendly staff. I love love the full size shampoo and conditioner and the hand lotion. I had a private balcony and had access to the shared balcony,,absolutely lovely views!!.downstairs at poolside by the fire was cozy and relaxing. I will definitely return. My new GO TO spot in San Antonio.

Great location and such a welcoming atmosphere! The staff truly go above and beyond to make your stay special. There’s a cute bar and restaurant on the property, and the brunch was fantastic! Molly and Sait were professional, polite, and incredibly thoughtful — they really helped make my wife’s birthday celebration memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel and we’ll definitely be back

If the service rating had more than 5 stars we would give it a million! From the moment we arrived at this charming hotel we were greeted with amazing service. The valet was so helpful, we were greeted with smiles and welcoming. Our check-in process with Margette (sp?) was exceptional and personalized. We felt valued. It was our anniversary, the room she chose for us was so romantic with beautiful views from our two private balconies. We had Champagne and chocolates in our room which made it feel all extra special. The hotel is just a small walk from amazing Riverfront restaurants. It was also a small walk to the Majestic so it was wonderfully convenient. The service was amazing right up until our morning coffee in the cafe as we prepared to leave. We were met by Ed Parker, the manager who was witty and kind. We will return again and again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Mansion! The staff was very attentive, helpful, and pleasant. Ideal location if you want to enjoy the Riverwalk. The courtyards/pool area are lovely and relaxing. The bar was decorated very festively for Christmas. Located right next to St. Mary's, we also enjoyed the Sunday morning bells. The building has a wonderful history and beautiful ambiance. We look forward to another stay!

I really like this hotel specially because it's on the Riverwalk. The ladies at the front desk were a little friendly. The room was hot at times. I don't think the AC worked better than it did. The parking valet attendants were very nice and polite as well as fast. The beds were pretty hard so my wife and I had a difficult time sleeping. We also ate breakfast at the four Brothers restaurant at the hotel and it was ok. Our waiter practicly forgot about us. We only saw him a couple of time. Everything was an OK stay. I think my wife and I will give it a break for a while and try other hotels at the Riverwalk for now.

Charming Historic Gem on the River Walk with Top-Notch Service! Stayed here recently and it was a delightful mix of old-world charm and modern comfort. The Omni La Mansión del Rio truly lives up to its reputation as a beautifully maintained historic property right on the San Antonio River Walk. The Spanish colonial architecture is stunning; think elegant courtyards, warm tones, and that grand hacienda feel that makes you feel like you're stepping back in time, but with all the contemporary amenities you need. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff at check-in was warm and efficient, and everyone we encountered throughout our stay; valets, housekeeping, restaurant team, was genuinely friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make things easy. Shoutout to the valet team especially for seamlessly handling our EV; the complimentary charging stations (managed through valet) were a huge convenience and worked perfectly during our visit. Dining was a real highlight. We visited the Four Brothers, the on-site restaurant, and everything was delicious, from flavorful cocktails to hearty Southern-Texas dishes with Latin influences. Portions were generous, the atmosphere inviting, and the service matched the rest of the hotel: professional yet relaxed. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and plenty of space to unwind. It felt clean and well-appointed overall, though the decor leans a bit darker and traditional, could use a touch more natural light or brighter accents to freshen it up. Still, it didn't detract from a solid, restful stay. Location is unbeatable: dead center of downtown, steps from the River Walk. We would definitely return; it's that rare blend of history, hospitality, and prime location.
